• pH rate* is a scale between the values of 1-14 where the acid and alkali values are measured. pH 7 is neutral.
• If the value is inferior to 7, the acidity increases; the alkalinity increases if the value rises. A healthy human body’s pH value is 5.5. The soap industry uses caustic with high alkalinity.
